    V7 FEP8 developers that want to use custom command execution
    triggers with REST command mapping.
    
    PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
    Command execution events are not raised when a command is
    executed via REST command mapping.
    
    BUSINESS IMPACT:
    Custom command execution triggers will have no effect when a
    command is executed via REST command mapping.
    
    RECOMMENDATION:
    

Problem conclusion

  • REST command mapping will call the command's execute() method
    instead of its performExecute() method to ensure that command
    execution events are raised.
