APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If you log in to the administrative console as a deployer and
  edit the target endpoint address in the Web Service Import
  Binding panel, the policy set binding is lost.
  

Local fix

• Log in to the administrative console as an administrator and
  edit the web service endpoint URL in the Web Service Import
  Binding panel.
  

Problem summary

• Users with the deployer role are not authorized to edit the
  target endpoint address or to attach, detach,  or assign a
  binding to a policy set.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.5 that prevents users with
  the deployer role from editing the target endpoint address or
  attaching, detaching, or assigning a binding to a policy set in
  the Web Service Import Binding panel in the administrative
  console. Instead, this user sees a warning message.
  Note: The warning message appears only in English.
  
  On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
  for JR53690:
  1. Select IBM Business Process manager with your edition from
  the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
  level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
  2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53690, and click Continue.
  
  When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
  the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
  additional installation instructions and information about the
  fix.
