  • When you click Failed Event Manager in the administrative
    console of the UTE server in IBM Integration Designer, you see
    the following error message:
    
    ?The Recovery sub-system is disabled. Enable the Recovery      €
    sub-system in order to work with failed events.

    The Recovery MBean cannot be found in the UTE server even when
    the server is running.  As a result, the wrong error message
    is displayed in the administrative console.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM Integration Designer V8.5.6 that
    allows you to use the Failed Event Manager in the UTE server
    of IID.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR53540:
    
    1. Select IBM Integration Designer from the product selector,
    the installed version to the fix pack level, and your
    platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53540, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
