    do not see any text. Instead, you see a MIME attachment that
    cannot be opened.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • An email gadget feature was added to IBM BPM V8.5 that uses a
    MIME attachment. In IBM BPM V8.5.5, this feature was incorrectly
    turned on by default as part of the new IBM BPM endpoint
    feature. As a result, the body of the email is blank and some
    mobile devices cannot open the MIME attachment.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 is available that restores the
    default email behavior prior to the new features being added.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR53455:
    
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53455, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
