Error description

  • When you edit the web service integration in IBM Process
    Designer, the saved data mapping might disappear after you
    switched the editor tabs between data mapping and other property
    tabs or component editor.

    This issue occurs only when there are SOAP header defined in
    the web service. Although a mark for the SOAP header was
    added, the tag was ignored when checking the data update. As a
    result, the mapping updated and cleared in the Process
    Designer view.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 that ensures checking
    the data update includes checking that the SOAP header tag was
    processed correctly.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR53242:
    
    1.Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2.Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53242, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
