  • When you select the Protected WSDL option and enter the user
    name and password to retrieve the WSD file, the http basic
    authentication header is included when the web service sends
    the SOAP request to the web service server.

    The user name and password for the protected WSDL option is
    used to retrieve the WSDL content from the WSDL provider. The
    authentication token shouldn óÔé¼Ôäót be included for the SOAP
    request when the http basic authentication is not enabled for
    that web
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 that ensures basic
    authentication header is removed from the SOAP request.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR53026:
    1.Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2.Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53026, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
