Error description

  • In IBM Process Portal, the Team Performance dashboard takes a
    long time to load in IBM Business Process Manager (BPM)
    environments where there are a large number of teams and process
    application snapshots.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The logic for determining for the teams to display in the Team
    Summary area of the dashboard searches every project and
    snapshot to look up the team information for the teams of which
    you are a member.  In an IBM BPM environment where there are a
    large number of process application snapshots and teams, the
    amount of time required to retrieve the team information can,
    therefore, become long.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 and V8.5.6.0 CF02 that
    adds a new database query that looks up the project with which a
    team is associated, and a cache that stores teams that have
    been found during previous loads of the Team Performance
    dashboard (by any user), reducing the amount of time required to
    load the dashboard.
    
    For V8.5.0.1, on Fix Central
    (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR53731.  Interim fix JR53731 contains the fix for interim
    fix JR52979.
    
     1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
     2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR53731, and click Continue.
    
    For V8.5.6.0 CF02, on Fix Central
    (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR54002.  Interim fix JR54002 contains the fix for
    interim fix JR52979.
    
     1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
     2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR54002, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
