Error description

  • When you use the TWSearch JavaScript API with TWSearchCondition
values of type TWDate, you might see an exception when the
search is performed. The exception might imply an unsupported
date/time value even when the TWDate object clearly represents a
    valid date.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • You can use the TWSearch JavaScript API in IBM BPM to conduct
flexible searches for process instances and tasks based on a
number of conditions that are defined as TWSearchCondition
objects. These condition objects specify a name, an operator,
and the value to compare to. The value is transformed
internally into an equivalent object representation. The problem
occurs because there is no explicit support for the TWDate type
during the transformation. As a result, the transformation falls
back to creating a generic date/time string representation that
might not be compatible with the TWDate type.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM that introduces explicit support
for the TWDate type in TWSearchConditions.
