Error description
Two different Ajax responses received depending upon if navigating to the shopping cart after having navigated to the shipping and billing page to update the quantity higher than is available. Navigating from the shipping and billing page, it uses the ajax request (AjaxOrderChangeServiceItemUpdate) which does not throw an error, and successfully updates the quantity. In the scenario otherwise it gets an ajax error response code of 1001 for AjaxOrderChangeServiceItemUpdate: "There is insufficient inventory to fulfill your request.".
