Error description

  • When REST service cart.preCheckout is invoked, the
"inventoryReservation" attribute is not passed to the back-end
service, therefore the attribute is not considered.

For example, if inventoryReservation=false, you expect the order
 to skip inventory reservation, but inventory reservation is not
 skipped.

WebSphere Commerce V7 users who use REST services on the
storefront and want to utilize the "inventoryReservation" flag.

PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
"inventoryReservation" attribute is not supported by REST
service cart.preCheckout

BUSINESS IMPACT:
Customers cannot utilize the "inventoryReservation" flag if
using REST service on storefront.
