Error description

• In the following scenarios, substituting variables, for example
  {{tw.local.myvar}}, does not substitute the value in custom
  HTML:
  
  -Uninitialized or null variables are generated into the HTML as
  "{{local.var1}}", although in previous releases it would have
  been "" (an empty string).
  
  -CustomHTMLs that are placed in a view's content box can be
  generated incorrectly depending on the level of nesting. Because
  variables are not resolved, they are generated into the HTML as
  "{{tw.local.var1}}", although in previous releases each variable
  would have been resolved and generated as the variable's value
  "var1 value".
  
  -Trying to access certain system variables throws the
  java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException and the coach is not
  generated. One example is when
  tw.system.currentProcessInstanceID, which is not defined in the
  internal static system variable set, is used and generated into
  the coach page.

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 that reverts the
  behavior to the pre-V8.5.5 function. The fix has been included
  in superseding cumulative fix for APAR JR52137.
  
  On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
  for JR52137:
  
      1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
  from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
  level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
      2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR52137, and click Continue.
  
  When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
  the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
  additional installation instructions and information about the
  fix.
