Problem conclusion


    

  • Code fix: Updated the generated ABAP code syntax so that it
works with SAP 4.6c non-Unicode as well as other SAP Systems.
Details: Following statement in the generated ABAP Code : "DATA
msg TYPE c LENGTH 255." was not syntactically correct in the SAP
4.6c non-Unicode system.
Hence it has been modified to statement : "DATA msg(255) TYPE
c." which will work with the same functionality in all SAP
versions.
Note: the issue was introduced by APAR JR47037 in version 7.1 GA
and the maintenance streams of versions 6.5.0.2 and 7.0
