Error description

  • A General System service cannot be exposed. However, when you
    convert an exposed human service to a General System service,
    the exposed type remains. If such a General System service is
    then used as undercover agent (UCA) service, you might see
    exceptions when the UCA runs.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When you convert a human service to a General System service in
    IBM Process Designer, the operation does not reset the
    exposedType property in the converted model.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V7.5.1.1 that resets the
    exposedType property when human services are converted to
    General System services.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR51994:
    
        1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
    from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
        2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR51994, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
