Error description

  • The dataload utility can generate a very large number of errors

already known, and are considered to be harmless, there is no
    need for the error logging.

Problem summary

  • The dataload utility can generate a very large number of errors
in the log, depending on the volume of data. If the errors are
already known, and are considered to be harmless, there is no
    need for the error logging.

Problem conclusion

  • When running the data load command line, the user can turn off
the error log by specifying the following at the end of the
    command line:

    -D.level=OFF

Note: This will turn off all error reporting to the error log
file, and should be used with caution, and only when the errors
in the data are already known and acceptable.
