Error description

  • When you use a reusable coach view that uses an Advanced
    Integration service (AIS) from a dependent toolkit, you receive
    the following SCA exception:
    
    CWLLG0594E: An exception occurred while initializing the
    runnable thread. Error:

    emException: javax.naming.ServiceUnavailableException: No
    synchronous endpoints are available for targeted SCA
    export/service:

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The AIS is not invoked because the snapshot ID of the toolkit is
    passed instead of the one for the process application.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 that determines the
    correct snapshot ID for the process application. This fix is
    included in cumulative coaches fix for APAR  JR51548.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR51548:
    
        1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
    from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
        2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR51548, and click Continue.
    
    A fix is also available for IBM BPM 8.5.5.0. The fix for this
    APAR on 8.5.5.0 has been included in cumulative fix JR51545. To
    obtain, following the instruction above, substituting the APAR
    id with JR51545.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
