Error description

  • When you use a custom dashboard that includes the task list
    control in a coach, and that control is configured in IBM
    Process Designer by the dashboard developer with a search filter
    to automatically filter the list of displayed tasks, as tasks
    are added and modified you might see tasks that the search
    filter should have filtered out of the list.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The task list control initialization code does not correctly
    persist the search filter that was configured in IBM Process
    Designer in the task list control object. As a result, the
    search filter is correctly applied when a task list control
    starts, but thereafter the filter is not applied to the task
    list as tasks are added and modified.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 that correctly persists
    the configured search filter in the task list control object,
    allowing it to be applied consistently as tasks are added and
    modified.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR51489:
    
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR51489, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
