APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When updating an assigned value for an attribute for a catalog
  entry, if the value is used by other catalog entries, a new
  value will be created for this catalog entry.
  
  The store id associated to the new value is incorrectly set to
  the current store instead of the original store where the value
  should belong.

  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  Business user may not be able to see the attribute value under
  the proper store after updating the value.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem is related to JR50043 which enables the reuse of
  assigned values across different catalog entries.
  
  The logic of creating new attribute is corrected so that the
  updated value is still in the same store as the previous value.
