Error description

• The Catalog Upload function may display the DSRA9110E: Statement
  is closed error, then cease to function.

  BUSINESS IMPACT:
  May cause work disruption for any users who are accessing the
  database when the server is being restarted.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Catalog Upload is using a connection from the connection pool to
   have a transaction set up with the database. If the connection
  is not closed properly when it last used (by any transaction),
  the transaction associated with it may time out even though the
  connection is returned to the pool. When Catalog Upload tries to
   use the same connection later, the transaction which has
  already been timed out will be used and that is causing the
  DSRA9110E: Statement is closed error.
  
  Added code so that each time a connection is about to be used
  for Catalog Upload, all the transactions for that connection
  will be cleared before it is opened to ensure there will be no
  dead transactions for that connection which will prevent the
  DSRA9110E: Statement is closed error.
