Error description
If you defined a web service integration that uses web service server settings in a toolkit and included the toolkit in a process application, you can update the values of the web service server settings in the Process Admin Console after deploying the process application to one IBM Process Server environment or activating corresponding process application snapshot in one IBM Process Center environment. However, after the update the values that are used at run time are still the original values.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) * * Standard * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If you defined a web service * * integration that uses web service * * server settings in a toolkit and * * included the toolkit in a process * * application, you can update the * * values of the web service server * * settings in the Process Admin Console * * after deploying the process * * application to one IBM Process Server * * environment or activating * * corresponding process application * * snapshot in one IBM Process Center * * environment. However, after the * * update the values that are used at * * run time are still the original * * values. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** For IBM BPM web service integration, the server definition is loaded from the service's version scope. So, if you defined the integration service in the toolkit, IBM BPM tries to load the server configuration only from the toolkit's version scope. However, at run time the modification to the values in the Process Admin Console are stored in the process application scope. Therefore, the values will not take effect.
Problem conclusion
A fix is available for IBM Business Process Manager V8.5.0.1 that searches for the value from both the toolkit and process application scope and use the latest value. On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR51174: 1.Select Business Process Manager with your edition from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level, and your platform, and then click Continue. 2.Select APAR or SPR, enter JR51174, and click Continue.
