APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If extending the Catalog tool in Management Center (ex.
  AttributeDictionaryAttribute element definition) to display and
  allow updates for the following fields: FACET.FIELD1,
  FACET.FIELD2, FACET.FIELD3, the values appear in the tool but
  updates are not persisted to the database.
  

Local fix

• Manually insert the data into the FIELD1 - 3 columns via SQL or
  to use another table to store this data in.
  

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  WebSphere Commerce users whom want to persist data to
  FACET.FIELD1 - 3 using Management Center.
  
  PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
  Unable to use Management Center to update FIELD1 - 3 of the
  FACET table

Problem conclusion

• The persistence layer of the application is updated to store
  each of these fields properly.
