Error description
You can perform administrative tasks for user synchronization either by using the administrative scripts that are provided for this purpose (usersSync, usersFullSync) or by triggering synchronization operations (synchronize, full synchronize) from the Process Admin Console by selecting User Management and then User Synchronization. When the federated repositories are configured as a user registry, the administrative user synchronization mechanisms in IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) assume that the default loginProperties setting uid is used to identify the available users in the federated repositories (including associated LDAP directories). When you configure a non-default value or a sequence of values for the loginProperties settings, the mechanisms might clear the user full names in the IBM BPM database and add incorrect user entries. **** Possible exception in the SystemOut: ---- CWLLG0326E: The BPD encountered an error. com.lombardisoftware.bpd.runtime.engine.BPDCaughtException: Undeclared variable "user_fullName" in namespace "system" found in service "TestHS" item "Untitled" location "ITEM". Problem summary
When you configure a non-default value or a sequence of values as the loginProperties in federated repositories, the administrative user synchronization mechanisms might clear the user full names in the IBM BPM database and add incorrect user entries.
Problem conclusion
A fix is/will be available that ensures that administrative user synchronization correctly reflects the loginProperties settings that were configured for the federated repositories. With this fix applied, correct user full name values are used to update existing user entries in the IBM BPM database and no incorrect user entries are added to the IBM BPM database. On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR51009: 1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level, and your platform, and then click Continue. 2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR51009, and click Continue. When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for additional installation instructions and information about the fix.
