Error description

  • Process Designer experiences performance issues when using
    certain coach view related operations when there is a high
    network latentcy.
    
    Loading the User Interface list which contains coach views using
    tooltips.
    Loading the coach configuration tab.
    
    If the http calls are reviewed between the Process Designer and
    Process Center you may notice that a large number of individual
    calls a made related to coach view items for one Process
    Designer action.
    

Local fix

  • Reduce the network latency between the Process Designer and
    Process Center.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix for IBM BPM 8.5.0.1 is available on Fix
    Central(http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), and has been
    included with superseding fix for JR51003. On Fix Central search
    for JR51003:
    
        1. Select the product group, product, installed version, and
    platform, and click Continue.
        2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR51003, and click Continue.
    
    A fix is also available for IBM BPM V8.0.1.3. The fix for this
    APAR on 8.0.1.3 has been superseded and included in cumulative
    fix for JR54073 . To obtain, following the instruction above,
    substituting the APAR id with JR54073.
    
    A fix is also available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0. The fix for this
    APAR on 8.5.5.0 has been superseded and included in
    cumulative fix for JR52137 . To obtain, following the
    instruction above, substituting the APAR id with JR52137.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download

    additional installation instructions and information about the
