Error description

  • After installing APAR JR50043, allowed value attributes which
have shared values may not be properly restored after the undo
of a change.

  • USERS AFFECTED:
Customers who have JR50043 installed and are
undoing changes to shared assigned attribute values assignments.
PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
Undoing shared attribute relationship in a
workspace fails

BUSINESS IMPACT:
Updating a shared assigned
attribute value in Management center can fail.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • When undoing the change of assigning attribute value to catalog
entry, if the assigned value is used by other catalog entries,
the value should not be deleted from ATTRVAL and ATTRVALDESC
table.

This ifix is to ensure the ATTRVALDESC table value is
also restored correctly.
