Error description

  • When you create a business process definition (BPD), add an
activity, and right-click the activity to use the Activity
wizard to convert the activity to an event subprocess, nothing
    happens.

    PRODUCTS AFFECTED:
IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) Advanced
    IBM BPM Standard
    IBM BPM Express

Local fix

  • Select the activity that requires to be of type Event Subprocess
, select the Properties tab, select the Implementation sub-tab,
and choose "Event Subprocess" from the corresponding list in the
drop-down menu for the implementation type.

Problem summary

  • This problem occurs because the conversion process exited
    prematurely.

    PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
A fix will be incorporated into a later release that allows the
conversion process to complete so that the activity can be
    converted to an event subprocess.
