JR50782: AIS IS UNREACHABLE IF DELETE PROCESS APP FROM PD AND IMPORT AGAIN

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Export snapshot from one process center and import to another
    process center. Delete the new import process app and import
    again, you may see AIS is unreachable error.

Local fix

  • Restart the Process Designer before importing the snapshot.
    Or import the snapshot to Process center from a standalone web
    browser.
    

Problem summary

  • Issue was due to obsolete version summary references were not
    removed during process application deletion, subsequently when
    PD tried to resolve artifact reference, it failed due to these
    invalid references.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM 8.5.0.1 that ensure version
    summary cache is properly cleanup for toolkit \ process
    application deletion . On Fix Central
    (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR50782:
    
        1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition
    from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
        2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50782, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
