Error description

  • When a newly assigned user tries to complete a task that has
    been postponed before it was reassigned to him or her, the task
    is incorrectly put in to the View mode and the user cannot
    access any functions on the coach for the task.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 is available that ensures that the
    proper unload logic runs when a user navigates away from a
    completed task as result of a postponed task. The fix is
    comprised of two fixes: JR50685 and JR50658.  You must download
    and install interim fix JR50541 (which includes the fix for
    JR50685) and interim fix JR50162 (which includes the fix for
    JR50658 and is a prerequisite for JR50541).
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), complete
    the following steps:
    
     1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
     2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50541, and click Continue.
     3. Do steps 1 and 2 for JR50162.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
