Local fix
Problem summary
Process Inspector calls a REST API to determine the permissions that are granted to a user. If the call is performed on behalf of a member of the IBM BPM security group, the response to this call does not include permissions to view and edit task data.
Problem conclusion
A fix is available for IBM BPM 8.0.1.2 that makes sure that IBM BPM security group members are granted permissions to view and edit the data that is associated with a task. On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR50577: 1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level, and your platform, and then click Continue. 2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50577, and click Continue. When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for additional installation instructions and information about the fix.
