JR50238: SQL CONSTRAINT VIOLATION ERROR OCCURS WHEN YOU TRY TO RUN A STORED PROCEDURE

Error description

  • While one of the following stored procedures runs, you might see
    an error that indicates that a group cannot be deleted because
    of a foreign key constraint violation:

    - LSW_BPD_INSTANCE_DELETE

Local fix

Problem summary

  • This error occurs because the stored procedures incorrectly
    handle groups within ad hoc groups that are stored in the IBM
    BPM database.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is/will be available that deletes groups in ad hoc groups.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR50238:
    
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
     the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
     level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50238, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
