Error description

• Extend support for configuration parameter
  ATPInventoryPerformance lockitemSpecEnabled to other databases.
   Currently is only supported with Oracle database.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
   Any customer who wants to use the option to prevent overselling
  with databases other than oracle.
  
   PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
   Extend support of ATPInventoryPerformance lockitemSpecEnabled
  to other database type
  
   BUSINESS IMPACT:
   Potential deadlocks and overselling when not using this
  parameter
  
   RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• The below configuration is available in WC instance
  configuration XML file under <InstanceProperties> node:
  
   <ATPInventoryPerformanceParameters lockItemSpecEnabled="true"/>
  
   This configuration avoids concurrent inventory allocation on
  the same item. But currently this option only take effects for
  Oracle, now we will extend it to all other DBMS types.
