Error description

  • The teamworks 6.2 users cannot log into IBM Business Process
    Manager (BPM) after migration because IBM BPM does not support
    the migration of mixture password hash.

    The user password of teamworks 6.2 is encrypted by a DES
    algorithm, but the user password of  WebSphere Lombardi
    Edition 7.1 or later and IBM BPM 7.5.0 or later is encrypted
    by a WAS algorithm. IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 does not support the
    migration of mixture password hash
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.1 that  ensures both
    teamworks 6.2 users and IBM BPM users are able to  log into
    IBM BPM after migration.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR50079:
    
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50079, and click Continue.
    
    When downloading fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
