JR50039: CHANGES TO SEARCH FILTER CRITERIA IN A CONTENT INTEGRATION NODE DO NOT TAKE EFFECT

Error description

  • While setting Content Filters in a Content Integration Node,
    adding or removing Search Criteria have no effect on the service
    execution, even though user interface is properly updated and
    saved.

Local fix

  • It is possible to ?reset? the model by clicking on ?Add Search
    Criterion? button to add a new, blank expression, then
    immediately delete it, and then save.
    

Problem summary

  • There is a problem in the UI code that sometimes breaks the link
    between the underlying Content Integration model and the user
    interface that builds search criteria.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V.R.M.F that fixes UI code to
    properly update the model when search criteria are added or
    deleted. On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral),
    search for JR50039:
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR50039, and click Continue.
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
