• An error may be issued incorrectly for a valid XPath
  expression.  The
  XPath expression uses an XPath function whose parameter is a
  relative
  path such as:
  
    number(productOrder/id)
  
  An error such as the following may be issued for this
  expression:
  
    The id element in XPath number(productOrder/id) was not found
    in the XML Schema
  

Local fix

• If possible, use an absolute path in the expression such as:
  
    number(/productOrder/id)
  
  Note the leading slash (/) of the parameter, making it an
  absolute path.
