Error description

  • In IBM Process Portal, when you are completing a task, the
    message "You have automatically been logged out" may be
    displayed when it should not be.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • After a task completion user interface is launched in a new
    window, once you complete the task, that window (if it still
    exists) is always reloaded.  If that window is not in a proper
    state to be reloaded, an error condition is triggered which
    ultimately causes the message "You have been automatically
    logged out" to be displayed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix for IBM BPM V8.0.1.2 is available that fixes the task
    completion logic so that the window in which a task completion
    user interface is launched is not reloaded, unless you are using
     SharePoint integration (where the reload is required).
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR49949:
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR49949, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
