APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Once a Quick Publish Task group is approved any changes to
  promotion codes aren't updated in the Live DB.
  

Local fix

• Use StagingProp rather than quick publish for promotion code
  changes.
  

Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
   Users who use quick publish to create new promotion code and
  delete the old promotion code
  
   PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
   Quick publish does not publish new promotion codes and update
  the live db after approving the task group
  
   BUSINESS IMPACT:
   Old promotion codes are still valid and be used to add to cart
  
   RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• As a result of the changes to the PX_CDPOOL table in APAR
  JR45153 and in FEP6 and above, the PX_CDPOOL table is no longer
  updated in the workspace schema, which means the default
  Resource Managers were not able to find any changes in the table
   when quick publish is run.
  
   To resolve this issue, a new Resource Manager was created to
  handle the quick publish for PX_CDPOOL.
