Error description

  • If there are many instances of xsd:import in the definitions
    of a business object and many  WSDL interfaces in the project,
    such as
    
    <xsd:import
    namespace="http://www.ibm.com/domain/common/messages/v1_0"
    schemaLocation="../../../../../domain/common/messages/v1_0/BaseS
    erviceRequest.xsd">
    
    and the SCA module depends on many libraries, you might
    experience a performance issue when the SCA module is being
    deployed.

    This performance issue occurs because the artifact loader
    scans the module &#162;&#226;&#130;&#172;&#226;&#132;&#162;s EAR file for business object definitio
    and WSDL interfaces, trying to locate the XSD file that is
    specified at "schemaLocation=" in the EAR file, and will
    traverse all the JAR files in the EAR file until the XSD file
    is found.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.0.0 that creates a cache
    for the exact location of the schema in the EAR file during
    deployment, therefore preventing the performance lag.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR49744:
    1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
    the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
    level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR49744, and click Continue.
    
    When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
