Error description
In some instances during server startup, the WebSphere Commerce application server may encounter a Java deadlock causing the server to become unresponsive. Reviewing Javacore files collected at the time of the issue will show two deadlocked threads, one in DataServiceFacade.getInstance and the other one in ComponentConfigurationRegistry.getComponentConfiguration.
Local fix
Deadlocked servers need to be killed and re-started.
