Error description

  • During the migration process, the step to configure IBM
Process Server overwrites the heap size of the cluster
members. As a result, customized heap sizes are decreased.

Local fix

  • Adjust the heap size manually afterwards

*                      -Xmx2048m.                              *

The customized heap sizes of servers are decreased during the
migration and configuration processes.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available for iBM BPM V7.5.1.1 that prevents the
customized heap sizes of servers from being decreased during
IBM BPM migration and configuration.

On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
for JR49389:

 1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from
the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack
level, and your platform, and then click Continue.
 2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR49389, and click Continue.

When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download
the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
additional installation instructions and information about the
fix.
