APAR status

Error description

  • ABAP stage using FTP mode - implement FTP client support for
multiple replies embedded in one message (as sent by the FTP
Server)
SAP ABAP Stage transfer timeout on small files due to presence
of ftp messages in the same job log. The FTP Server replies
back with a single message, containing 2 lines, each line being
a separate reply:
message 1 = reply 1+2 : "150 Opening data connection
226 Transfer complete"

Local fix

  • Use PX job to invoke message handler on the ftp timeout as the
file is transfered ok and the job ran ok.
