Problem summary
USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Commerce v7 users who use Quick Publish after applying JR48564 PROBLEM ABSTRACT: Quick Publish fails with ResourceException when publishing a delete statement BUSINESS IMPACT: Changes cannot be published on an urgent basis from Staging to Production RECOMMENDATION:
Problem conclusion
The failure occurs when a delete statement is executed on a table (e.g. CATENCALCD). The delete occurs successfully but the update count isn't generated correctly so an error is thrown to indicate that one more updates didn't occur successfully and the transaction is unnecessarily rolled back. The update count has been fixed to return the correct count value ------------------------------------------------------------- The latest available maintenance information can be obtained from the Recommended Fixes for WebSphere Commerce technote: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=3046&uid=swg21261296
