Error description

• After installing JR47273, there are a lot of cache misses
  causing long query response times everytime a new cache entry
  has to be created

   WebSphere Commerce users on V7.0 who installed JR47273 (facet
  performance apar)
  
   PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
   APAR JR47273 causes delayed response times and timeouts for the
  facet image and sequence query
  
   BUSINESS IMPACT:
   The cache key used will cause a lot of cache misses, causing
  longer query response times as the query will have to go to the
  database. The initial query can take a long time depending on
  the way the way the customers attribute data is structured.
  
   RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• The cache key being used before this fix was modified so that it
   would not have as many cache misses. The query being used when
  fetching facet image and sequence data is improved.
