  • A participant group is not visible under Role Bindings in the
Process Admin Console when a process application is
reinstalled on Process Server after the process application
was deleted.

Problem summary


    

  • In the Process Admin Console, a participant group is not visible
 under Role Bindings when a process application is reinstalled
on Process Server because the link between the participant and
participant group was broken. The link was broken because the
snapshot deletion command (BPMDeleteSnapshot) did not thoroughly
 clean up the snapshots.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available for IBM BPM V7.5.1.2, V8.0.1.1, V8.0.1.2,
V8.5.0.1 to perform a thorough cleanup when deleting
snapshots.

On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), and
search for JR48877:

1. Select the product group, product, installed version, and
platform, and click Continue.
2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR48877, and click Continue.

When downloading fix packages, ensure that you also download
the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
additional installation instructions and information about the
fix.

In addition to this interim fix, install the other interim fixes
 that are required for the BPMDeleteSnapshot and
BPMSnapshotCleanup commands, which are listed in "Issues with
BPMDeleteSnapshot and BPMSnapshotCleanup commands in IBM
