When an existing profile is being upgraded from IBM BPM V8.5
to IBM BPM V8.5.0.1, the IBM_BPM_WebAPI application is not
updated correctly and its policy set entries are lost if
either APAR JR48474 or APAR PI05987 were not installed with
IBM BPM V8.5.0 fix pack 1.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available that preserves the policy set entries when
you are upgrading profiles and repairs the lost policy set
    entries of the IBM_BPM_WebAPI application.

    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for both PI05987 and JR48859:

    1. Select the product group, product, installed version, and
    platform, and click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter PI05987, and click Continue.
    3. Repeat step 1 and step 2 for JR48859.

When downloading fix packages, ensure that you also download
the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
