APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • ORA-1405 and ORA-1406 errors may occur in migrated jobs.

Local fix

  • set CC_ORA_MAX_ERRORS_REPORT='0'

Problem summary

  • DRS Connector on server canvas logging warnings for every NULL
value error reported by Oracle. This is a change in behavior
after migration since DRS Plugin ignored these warnings. Example
of error logged: "While reading data for column C1, the
connector received Oracle error code ORA-1405."

Problem conclusion

  • As of this fix, new environment variable
CC_ORA_DISABLE_SERVER_NULL_WARNING can
now be set to TRUE to eliminate these warnings on server canvas.
