Error description

  • When you gather and use the security identity of SCA modules,
    and then deploy these modules to Process Server, you see
    duplicate security entries in the administrative console RunAs
    role area for each module.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If you defined security identity        *
    *                      qualifiers in your SCA modules, used    *
    *                      the Deployment editor in Integration    *
    *                      Designer to gather security roles,      *
    *                      and mapped these security roles to      *
    *                      their specific users, you see           *
    *                      duplicate security entries in the       *
    *                      RunAs roles of these SCA modules        *
    *                      after these changes have been saved     *
    *                      and deployed to Process Server.         *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    When the security identity is defined in SCA modules, you use
    Integration Designer to open the module in the Deployment
    editor, and you click Gather Security Role, duplicate security
    entries are displayed in the RunAs role area of the
    administrative console for the modules.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available that prevents the creation of duplicate
    security entries when you use the Deployment editor in
    Integration Designer to gather and map security roles.
    
    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR48748:
    
    1. Select the product group, product, installed version, and
    platform, and click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR48748, and click Continue.
    
    When downloading fix packages, ensure that you also download
    the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for
    additional installation instructions and information about the
    fix.
