Error description

  • After using the convert tool to upgrade an exported Business
    Space file for Business Monior V7 to the V8 version, Cognos
    widgets might not display correctly and show the "needs
    configuration" text, in the V8 Business Space.

    *                      URL format prefix in the href attribute *
    *                      of the definition of Cognos Report      *
    *                      Viewer widget, such as the following    *
    *                      bolded text:                            *

    *                      href="http://hostname/mum/enabler#dateD *
    *                      imensions">                             *
    *                      Business Space cannot handle the widget *

    Cognos Report Viewer widgets are not displayed correctly after
    you
    import Business Space from WebSphere Business Monitor V7.0.0.4
    to
    IBM Business Monitor V8.0.1.1.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available that removes the URL format prefix from the
    href attribute. After the URL format prefix is removed, the href
    attribute looks like the following bolded text:

    On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
    for JR48713:
    
    1. Select the product group, product, installed version, and
    platform, and click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR48713, and click Continue.
