Error description

• When using a heritage Select control, if the value contains
  the special characters &,<, or >, the value of the selected item
  is encoded incorrectly in the back end process with an
  extra amp;, which cause incorrect results when the value of
  the selected item is used in other activities in the
  process.

  contain &, <, or > characters in its value.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available that ensures that all XML predefined special
  characters are decoded.
  
  On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search
  for JR48400. After you select the product group, product,
  installed version, and platform, click Continue and then select
  APAR or SPR, enter JR48400, and click Continue. When downloading
   fix packages, ensure that you also download the readme file for
   each fix. Review each readme file for additional installation
  instructions and information about the fix.
