  • The XML Schema shown in Business Object editor View XML Schema
preview does not use the Type Name and Type Namespace values
specified in the Advanced Parameter Properties.

PROBLEM DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
This issue affects users of IBM Process Designer using the
Advanced Parameter Properties feature of the Business Object
editor, to specify overriding type information. The View XML
Schema function in IBM Process Designer Business Object editor
displays a preview of the exported XML Schema for a business
object.  The exported XML Schema should use the overriding
Advanced Parameter Properties Type Name and Type Namespace
values if present. The underlying XSDExporter ignored these two
properties when generating the schema.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This APAR fixes the View XML Schema. An option was added to the
underlying XSDExporter to use the Advanced Parameter Properties
Type Name and Type Namespace when generating the XML Schema
preview.

A fix for IBM BPM 8.0.1.2 is available on Fix Central:
http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral . Search for JR48366, and:

    1. Select the product group, product, installed version, and
platform, and click Continue.
    2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR48366, and click Continue.
