JR48232: Performance issues or hang when opening a web activity in Management Center with a large number of parallel paths

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When creating a large web activity (e.g. 50+ parallel paths) in
  Management Center, issues may arise when attempting to open the
  Activity again. The Management Center may hang or be unable to
  properly display the Activity content.
  

Local fix

• Split the single activity into many activities (each with a
  smaller number of paths) setting priorities to the activities in
   a sequence. For example, the first would have priority 1, the
  second 2, then 3, and so on. All of these activities will have
  the same Marketing spot as their starting point, but the
  different activities will execute only their share of the
  actions that follow.
  
   On the store front, the eMarketingSpot where this activity
  displays will have to be set to receive one element as the
  result. This is to guarantee the results will come from one
  activity and not from any overlap you may have in the targets of
  the activity.
