category, but not its subcategories.

  • USERS AFFECTED:
 Users on WebSphere Commerce Version 7 Feature Pack 5 and 6.

 PROBLEM ABSTRACT:
 Expanded category navigation does not show facets for all
displayed products.


 BUSINESS IMPACT:

 In the storefront, shoppers can only scope products using a
limited set of facets. These facets belong to the products under
the currently browsed category.

 RECOMMENDATION:

  • With extended category navigation enabled, the storefront
displays facets that belong to the entire set of products in the
 current category and its subcategories.
