APAR status

Error description

  • If a coach contains a custom HTML form with non-closed curly
brackets "}" accessing this coach will result in corresponding
form not being displayed and AppCluster member will run
into OutOfMemory situation

Every other works with BPM cannot be performed because of slow
performance, thus server instance needs to be restarted.

Local fix

  • n/a

Problem summary

  • When the user provides an incomplete curly brackets expression,
the parser tries to find the ending brackets and doesn't stop at
the end of file flag.

EDITIONS AFFECTED:
Business Process Manager Advanced, Standard and Express.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that  does not skip errors anymore, but marks them as
such, for IBM BPM 8.5.0.0 is available on Fix Central:
http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral. Search for JR47947. After
you select the product group, product, installed version, and
platform, click Continue and then select APAR or SPR, enter
JR47947, and click Continue. When downloading fix packages,
ensure that you also download the readme file for each fix.
